I went in about 8:30 to avoid the before-work crowd, which I was told was large. I didn’t have to wait at all, which worries me. Of course, I’m in a fairly rural outer fringe area of my large city, so that’s probably why.

The rec center down the street used to be our regular polling place and in years past there was always a long line to get in to vote. The church across the street was not an early polling place but there WAS an early polling place just a few blocks away and for the past couple of weeks folks were posting on FB that they were able to get in and out quickly, no waiting.
By the way, since I made the last post, no one has gone in to vote across the street!

Using the data from the Florida Division of Elections ( https://dos.myflorida.com/elections/data-statistics/elections-data/ ), this guy has put together a turnout map. This morning, Democratics were up by 108k, now they are down 56k. If the idea that Republicans are set to show up in person at a higher rate, this is really bad news for Biden in Florida.

We just voted in Lilburn, GA. Us and 3 others in the whole place. We were in and out in 15 minutes. There was a poll watcher sitting near the scanner where you scan your ballot.
If Gotham can jerk its collective head out, so can Chi-Town.

We just left our precinct at St. William in Cincnnati. Earlier this morning they said there was long line around the church, but we hit the sweet spot. Very efficient process, took about 10 minutes. 4 votes for the Greatest President ever.
