IMO...In former pres elections, TV minute by minute election analysis were more honest and accurate.
A trite, but not irrelevant answer, is that one contender usually makes a concession speech.
That’s why I wouldn’t believe the 2016 results election night. Hillary wouldn’t concede; sent Podesta out to speak for her. Who knew what mayhem she might try to create. She conceded the next day.
Trump and team have some hard decisions to make today. His team should have been prepared for this on his behalf. They weren’t last night and they are scrambling today to decide what to do.

True in fact and by law. But by that day, is it not just a rote tally? All the dirty work has already happened. All the ducks are lined up in a row. All parties are in alignment.
Pelosi quote comes to mind: “But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.”

Obviously, the ECV has to wait until all states report their final tallies, and any and all appeals are heard and decided, so it could be rote or just delay the final outcome, as it’s doing now.
Unless it was a total blowout, as I hoped for in this election, it looks as though it’ll be very premature for anyone to declare themselves a “winner”.If he does so at 5pm, it’s just more demonKKKrat BS, or “gaslighting”, as you said.

Rush opening statement-—Brilliant and factually laser-beamed...again.
PS: And as Rush is saying, we kept the Senate, gained seats in House (and with minority candidates)...same also down ballot in many, many states-—Repubs over-performed.
Repubs defied the polls.
Trump himself over-performed with Hispanics “majorly” and with Blacks (but not as well as we had hoped). TRUMP carried the ticket!
And now we are to believe it was Biden who over-performed from his basement.
The fix was in with a well-executed plan of fraud long before election night. Motto of the Dems and their henchmen and their useful idiots: By any means necessary.
Mark the Repubs who are or are *not* openly supporting Trump’s battle to insist on a fair and legal 2020 election.
But, to me, he doesn’t sound as confident as he did yesterday.
I hope I’m misinterpreting.
I am not hearing that, but then again I am wound up too. Also, I am not live on Rush-—prob about 15-20 min behind what you are hearing live.
If you are correct, it may be because election recourse is in the hands of lawyers and courts, including SCOTUS.
Even...given that...he may be asking himself (as I am) has the damage already been/being done; i.e., by the time courts render decisions, will their decisions be moot and irrelevant for this 2020 election?
One thing I am hearing from Rush now is wouda, shouda, couda re the squeamish Repubs. True...but a totally useless comment in the present. IMO, it’s like Monday-morning QB in the middle of a game. I have no stomach for that from any of the alternative media...and I have heard a lot of it.
