Sure - but Al Franken and the Dems were playing hardball, and Norm Coleman's folks were more like a softball (or wiffle ball) team. I remember seeing photos of ballots, with Coleman's name voted, corrected/crossed out by the voter, and then Franken's name voted - those were counted for Franken. Fine. Similar ballots, with Franken's name voted, corrected/crossed out by the voter, and then voted for Coleman - were also counted for Franken. WTF? Time after time after time, the Dems applied their usual 'double standards' - and the end result was, the Minnesota GOP let that election slip away.
FWIW, I do NOT expect Mr. Trump OR his folks up in the north country to be playing anything except hardball...
