I’m gonna trade my various semi-autos in for a six-shooter.

Also what has not been publicly discussed by the Biden campaign is that if they have the ability to add semiautos to the NFA, then they will also have the ability to change the $200 tax (first established in 1934 and has never been raised) to an inflation-adjusted $3,900 in 2020 dollars, OR EVEN HIGHER. It's worth noting that the original federal income tax rate was zero for most of the working stiffs, 1% once they got above $3,000 a year, and the highest elite tax rate was 7%.
IIRC, it was fought unsuccessfully in congress by the scaremongers who said the rate might rise to 10%!

Our weapons aren’t national neither can the government buy them back, because they never owned them.

This kind of monetary impediment to a protected right (see 2nd Amendment) would immediately be challenged in court, and if it gets to the Scotus, it would be declared unconstitutional.Bet your life on that?
There are any number of ways that could fail. For one it could be very, very slow walked through lower courts, no judgement, no judgement to be appealed.
These people have been working on ways we can't even imagine to have their way.
Imagine if you will, what happens if shortly after a liberal democrat or an overt socialist gets into the White House, with a democrat Senate and House, and by golly, white supremisists blow up the Supreme Court?
Don't put it past them sacrificing 4 liberal supremes to replace ALL the Court with young enthusiastic hard core Marxist Justices!

We are rapidly approaching the useem or loseem point with firearms in the US. You cant win in a stand up fight but you can hurt their confiscation teams and make them pay a price that is steep. Eventually someone will slaughter one of these teams to a man then all gun owners will be declared terrorist. Then it devolves into either a hit and run campaign or Northern Ireland type fight.

If they bring in the UN as my dad says “those blue helmets make great targets” ... sorta like that Navy pilot who flew against Jap planes - “those meatballs on their planes made good targets”

NOPE!
Looking for SCOTUS to kill any efforts to implement this nonsense. Completely unconstitutional on its face. Then again, the entire NFA is completely unconstitutional on its face.

"...or register their firearm under the National Firearms Act, which requires the payment of a $200 tax."
Every drug-free trailer park redneck will do that (beer exempt from drug definition) and jump through more hoops if necessary. Remember the ingenuity of such men including young ones and their ability to thrive on the cheap. Their local police, their buddies, will pat them on their backs. Successful deer season harvests including the common use of modern sporting rifles will continue.
If any elitist folks don't like that (see suburban, political class women and their metrosexual "partners"), then they shouldn't be supporting Democrats and gun control. My recommendation for left-leaning political class suburbanites to feel more safe from rednecks is to oppose Democrats and gun control. If you can't vote for President Trump because of your emotion-based thinking, then at least vote for Republican candidates for Congress.

The 80% Arms company has been sending e-mails warning that bills are being introduced that would outlaw 80% lowers and any tooling that is used for completing a lower.
I am sure it is a sales strategy, but also sounds like bills that would not pass now will be ready if the demRATs win.

Would drug gangs and radical islamic terrorists and anyone planning a major crime be the first to register their firearms and magazines?

Wow. I didn't know that. Then the many who lost their firearms for lack of money would retaliate against the wealthier political class by pushing politicians to end their exceptions, too. What a plan.
Looks like the roads to the left lead to "civil unrest" indeed and poverty for everyone, unless President Trump is reelected with a Republican majority Congress to make our freedoms more concrete.

"The AWB was enforced entirely. If you think there will be some protection against this by sheriffs or anyone else youre deluding yourself. What they say during an election and what they actually do, which is getting arrests, is completely different."
That's true. As a matter of fact, there were many during the '90s involved in trivial arguments with family members, neighbors or other minor issues, who were the subjects of pre-dawn raids, arrests, jailings and subsequent slandering by their local news media. Their firearms were perfectly legal, but they were all confiscated, before the local news folks went on an on with implications about how dangerous they were and how they had "hundreds" or "thousands" of rounds of ammunition.
The answer is to make sure that all of the people in your communities know about the freedoms they'll lose with votes for Biden or Democrat candidates for Congress (especially the Senate). Vote for President Trump, and support your Republican candidates for the Senate!
