The Los Angeles Dodgers ended a 32-year wait for a World Series title on Tuesday night, defeating the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1 in Game 6 to finally lift the Commissioner's Trophy having fallen at the final hurdle twice in the last three seasons. Coming as it did just two weeks after the Los Angeles Lakers ended a 10-year wait for the NBA title, the Dodgers' triumph in the Fall Classic marks the first time since 1988 the Lakers and the Dodgers can both call themselves world champions in the same year. Away from the sporting arena, the Dodgers' World Series victory could be seen as a positive omen for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, who according to FiveThirtyEight's average of presidential election polls leads President Donald Trump by a 26-point margin in California ahead of the November 3 presidential election.

Let me get this straight. The Dodgers and Lakers won in 1988. The GOP won 40 states and elected Bush. So the the same thing happening again is a good omen for Democrats? Insane doesn’t even describe the gruel in Newsweak.
I might watch some highlite's on YOUTUBE....but they get NONE of my money.
It’s really the way long islanders talk. People around the country will ask me to explain and I just look at them. Nobody watched the World Series. It means that the viewership was so low that there will have to be major changes made

Actually, Reagan was the incumbent President and Bush 41 won the Presidency in 1988. That’s when the Lakers and Dodgers won championships the same year, so it should be a good omen for Trump.
The democrats rioted after the game so the answer is NO!
