Interesting that over the years the media kept hyping about white supremacists but where are they when ANTIFA rioters show up? Do they really exist? Where are these skinheads?

pretty hypocritical of them to buy guns

after all the people and laws they voted for that have made it impossible for us to own guns

Well; owning a weapon is a hell of lot different than knowing how to use it.

Toni Jackson, who bought her first gun about three years ago because her job requires her to handle large amounts of cash, at her home in Richmond, Va.

Gee NYT, I'm sure Toni Jackson will be thrilled that you pointed that out. Did they post her street address as well or was that left as an "exercise for the student"?

The only white supremacist I knew died 20 years ago.

Most white people I know don’t particularly like other white people. They judge people on attributes other than race.

“Democrats buy guns and then vote for the very people who openly state they want to take those guns away. The very definition of cognitive dissonance.”

totally ... but then again, they’re Democrats ...

The only thing better than owning a gun... is owning several dozen guns, along with enough powder, primers, brass and lead to assemble 30 or 40 thousand cartridges.

A friend of mine has some 45 cal air rifles that you fill with a scuba tank. He came over so that I could show him how to cast the 220 grain hollow point “pellets” that he bought a custom mold for. His mold made 5 at a time... they turned out perfect on the first try so he asked me for a chunk of wood so he could test one out. I handed him a piece of 2x6. I thought he was going to take it outside and put it in front of a tree. Instead he threw it on the concrete floor inside my airplane hangar and shot it with the rifle. The 2x6 split in two and the 220 grain pellet binged off the ground and went through the ceiling. He thought it was funny. The “pellet” leaves the rifle at 1000 fps and has over 500 ft. pounds of energy. .45acp has considerably less velocity and power when shot from a pistol. The only problem is the rifles weigh a lot.

As someone who has been taught marksmanship and firearm safety from a WW2 Army combat veteran (my father) of two amphibious landings on Japanese held islands and who credited his marksmanship skills with staying alive, I grew up with firearms. My father build a Boys Life (scouting magazine) 22 bullet trap indoor gun range in the basement of our house when I was in Junior High School and he taught me how to shoot. I trained my two sons and we went through hunter safety training courses at the gun range I belong to to reinforce all safety knowledge

I have CPL’s in two adjacent states so that I am legal to carry in most of the US States and can carry while I travel to many states regionally. I have belonged to a local gun range and firearms collectors association for over two decades.

I fear for new buyers of firearms. The laws governing “use of deadly force” “brandishing” and “self defense” have little to do with common sense. Buying a firearm and becoming proficient in its use under stress requires a lot of dedication. Then adding to that the kind of snap judgments requires to be made in a deadly force confrontation is a whole other level that most new firearms buyers don't comprehend.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of an armed and well trained citizenry. I think it makes us all safer. I just fear that some people who are buying firearms and not investing in the physical and legal training are putting themselves at risk. It is not as great a risk as being unarmed, but it is still a huge risk.

If you allow the Democrats to take a majority in the Senate, the confiscations will begin soon after. And there won’t be a Republican majority Senate again in our lifetimes. The Democrats will end the filibuster, add at least two states and pack the Supreme Court.

I need to transiotion to a hammerles revolver, one easy on the wrist. Currently carry a Tarus Ultra Lite,38. Surgery damage limits my fine motor skills in righgt dominate hand. It gets tangled in clothes. But I will also be transitioning to a wheelchair soon. Weight, kick back are biggest concerns.

LIVE TO CLOSE TO MEMHIS, ALL my 4 Specialist docs are there, currently on cane loaded with steel nuts.

No automatics, can’t rack or clean them.

I agree with you completely. I have thought along similar lines for some time.

NYT logic:

Liberal Toni Jackson is buying a gun; therefore, all liberals own guns.
