Amen. I’m voting for President Trump, but whether he wins or loses, I’m under no illusion that God is on our side and that He won’t judge our Nation even as he is doing so, right before our eyes.

Because Biden is not a Christian and John Piper is talking about “Christians” and what we believe and what many of us don’t believe.
Mmm. But Biden claims to be a Roman Catholic and “Christians” are voting for him because of what Piper wrote and what has been echoed by the media.
Christians who won’t support Trump because of past sins have no idea what Christianity is. All those verses about forgiveness, remembering sin no more, as far as east is from west etc. must not be in their progressive version of the Bible.
God may certainly increase America's judgment. A Biden win would certainly be that. It doesn't mean I should not vote, as Piper suggested. Tribulation may be right around the corner but I won't shirk my duty to vote as an American citizen, born into the best form of government under God's heaven.
Each one of us must answer to God for what we have done with the gifts he has given us.
Trump did some locker room talk about grabbing the pudenda of willing females and some prissy ministers just can’t abide that. For them, such an act is so much more horrendous than baby-killing, sedition, treason, destroying the nation. Sick, sick, sick.

I’ve had other well-meaning Christians ask me over the past four years how I could vote for Trump. My answer has always been the same: “I didn’t vote for a saint, I voted for someone to make America great again.”
Yes, the President can sometimes be his own worst enemy, but if he stops tweeting or sometimes boasting, he wouldn’t be Trump. He loves this country and that’s good enough for me.
He brought fearsome judgement down upon the apple of His eye, Israel.
We cannot continue to slaughter our babies and mock His model of marriage and expect to prosper as a nation.
He will give us what we deserve, if not now, then soon. But this will be only for a moment - and those who belong to Him will dwell with Him for eternity.

For a guy who allegedly knows the Bible, Piper appears to have missed the sections about how God used imperfect men to accomplish his plans.
I don’t think any Christian could infer that John Pioer thinks it’s OK to vote for Joe Biden. The question should not be whether Joe Biden is a Roman Catholic. The question should be: why hasn’t the RC Church excommunicated him yet?
