The world is shocked as it never had been through all of history that the New York Post and the Washington Examiner would endorse Trump.
Neither paper is far left.
The headline is misleading
Where’s the heavy lifting? Freepers are well familiar with both.
NO big papers endorsed him last time. The New York Post is a coup.
Of the top fifty local newspapers, there was exactly _one_ that endorsed Trump in 2016.
That was the Las Vegas newspaper.

Post is OK sometimes, but surprised to see big headline on it.
I’d like to see the WSJ endorse Trump, at least.
Is the Washington Examiner even a newspaper? I thought they shut down the paper about a decade ago, and it was now merely a website that put out a periodical. In any event, even if they have gone back in the newspaper business, it isn’t a ‘top newspaper.’
The right really ought to try to maintain some credibility with its propaganda.

The Wall Street Journal hasn’t endorsed a presidential candidate since 1928. If they didn’t endorse either Dwight Eisenhower against Adlai Stevenson or Ronald Reagan against Jimmy Carter, I can’t imagine that they will endorse Donald Trump.

I think in this instance they are editorials, being written, presumably, by the editorial staff.
I wonder if the NYP endorsement means that the paper thinks it’s likely Trump will take NYS...

To my mind there’s only one reason why the NYP endorsed Trump: They think he’s going to win NYS.
