But her most significant moment came when Dupri asked the question in a friendly, supportive fashion during a roundtable discussion at the Gathering Spot, a popular Atlanta business club.
She promised the group that she understood the challenges Black men face and said shed fight to decriminalize marijuana and press for other overhauls. And she cast her work as San Franciscos district attorney as an effort to fix an inherently flawed system.
Yes, I was a prosecutor," she said. "I decided to go in a system that I knew was flawed to reform it. Yes, I decided to go up the rough side of the mountain, as we say in church. And I didnt fix the entire system.

Wasn’t Kamala Harris known in California as a vicious DA that overwhelming incarcerated black people?
“I decided to go up the rough side of the mountain”
Coming from her .. that’s freaking hilarious.
Well, yeah, but she was "going up the rough side of the mountain."
My wife is very worried that the dems might win the election. But look at the crowds where PDJT goes, several thousands. Biden/Harris, a couple of dozens. Compare the enthusiasm. Trumps gets roars of approval, Biden/Harris polite applause at best.
I realize that rally crowd size doesn’t necessarily mean victory, but I find it hard to imagine Biden/Harris winning based on what I’ve seen with my own eyes.
Lol, no black men, who arent homo, are fallin for Kamala.
That’s some auto correct, lol.
That’s some auto correct, lol.
I’ve heard it in a song by Reverend F.C. Barnes. Here’s the lyrics. https://www.moron.nl/lyrics/f.c.-barnes/rough-side-of-the-mountain-lyrics.html
Maybe it’s a Hindu idiom.
Yer eyes aint lying. Trump will crush Biden
Whata joke she is.A dangerous one I know.
down on her knees begging for their vote...........
Isn't it racist to assume or associate Black men only with breaking marijuana laws?
Commielah is the *itch that black guys ghost after the first date cause she reminds them of their shrill, feminist auntie.
” She promised the group that she understood the challenges Black men face...Says the Uber priviledged Indian/Jamaican woman. “
That’s “Uber privileged Indian/Jamican descendant of slaveholders in a skirt” to you.
According to the wench Kamala, I would say its the lower middle side.
“As we say in church...”. Pandering to blacks, who historically are churched, one way or another. Subtle form of racism, assuming all blacks are brought up in church.
Did she put on her finest ho outfit and knee pads
Did they ask her how many innocent Blacks she locked up?
Did they ask her how she could understand anything about the Black community, since she’s not black, but a Hindu?
