I have to wonder about the timing... wouldn’t it be better to have CBS drop their version before he puts out the complete footage to show how they edited it? This way, they have the opportunity to go back and edit it to be ‘fairer’....

I heard yesterday Rush say it was Leslie Stahl that called him and suggested he plead with his audience for a peaceful transition if a Trump loses.
If they do he can always put it on his campaign website.

60 minutes has a limited amount of commercial free time for their pre-recorded piece
Gotta wonder where we’d be now if Sarah Palin was allowed to fight back like this when interviewed by Katie Couric??

Then repost/release/promote the unedited Trump version AGAIN after the 60 minutes show airs for those that had missed it’s pre-show release.
Trump needs to ask the DOJ for a legal opinion on whether this constitutes a copyright infringement under Federal or DC law. If recorded at the White House, seems to me he is well within his rights to film and broadcast it, so long as he doesn’t title it “60 Minutes,” and if there was no contract limiting his ability to do so.
I'm sure Trump retained the right to distribute, he's pretty much a contract expert.
