A record-breaking surge of mail-voting Democrats in Florida has handed Joe Biden a massive lead over President Donald Trump in his must-win home state.
But here come the Republicans.
The start of in-person voting Monday is expected to trigger a conservative wave that will build over the next two weeks and crest on Election Day. Around two-thirds of participating Florida GOP voters are likely to cast a ballot in person this fall, raising the question of whether Biden, the Democratic presidential nominee, will be able to hold off a Trump comeback by the time the polls close at 7 p.m. on Nov. 3.
Our voters have said they would like to vote in person, said Susie Wiles, the operative leading Trumps Florida campaign. And our expectation is thats what theyll do, whether its early or on Election Day. As of Sunday, more than 1.2 million Democrats had voted by mail in Florida, compared to 754,000 Republicans. That gives Biden an enormous edge that his supporters have held up as a leading indicator that the former vice president will end Trumps presidency by taking Floridas 29 electoral college votes.
But if Florida turnout matches 2016, there are likely still 8 million or so ballots left to be counted over the next 15 days. ...
Fifteen days out from Election Day in 2016, according to his data, there were about 36,000 more Republican super voters than Democratic super voters who had yet to cast ballots. This year, with 15 days to go, there are 471,000 more Republican high-propensity voters than Democrat super voters still to cast ballots.

Did I say Trump would lose North Carolina?
I don't know. You were responding to a post about the "Trump is losing NC" narrative. And if you have NC as more liberal than FL, which Trump won by only 1.3 points, well... there ain't much room left to maneuver.
Things have changed since 2016. I think they got better for Trump in Florida, and tighter for him in NC.
Okay, fair enough. I did misinterpret your point. I think Trump improves his winning margin in both states, and all across the country.
No forgetting was involved. All the media outlets were reminded in advance by the SoS's office that Florida has two time zones.
No, he will, big red wave coming.
I guess they figure they’re appealing to their base who are a bunch or moronic snowflakes.
Noted. Thanks. Sometimes I really do feel like I am living through Orwells 1984. The Media really is the enemy of the people.
just about to post. Glad I searched.
It’s already started.
This is the first Presidential election I will vote early. Not young anymore and dont want to take a chance I may not be able to vote (or kick the bucket) on or before Election Day.
hell getting old.
The YUGE MISTAKE the LIEberals are making is that the Democrat voters are voting for Biden.
I am led to believe that roughly 20% of the attendees at President Trumps Rallies are Democrats.
I wonder if there is any way to verify if the Democrats are REALLY voting Democrat before Nov 3?
I voted with my absentee ballot last week in Manatee County and my ballot has been verified and counted.
My wife is opting to vote in person at an early voting location tomorrow. She may change her mind and vote with her absentee ballot when she sees the line.
Thank God then that your opinion means nothing to me
I’m guessing your wife and kids too
You’re just boring as HELL man.
buona notte
Hey, before you continue lecturing me/us on boredom, could you tell us another tale about NYC and/or your Italian heritage, Papa?!?
