Just want to add, Rush has educated me so much through the years and I am so grateful for him. Hope the Lord will let him here for a long time!
His relationship with Jesus is comforting. Pray for Jesus’ healing tough and strength.
Given the seriousness of the stage 4 diagnosis, he just said he didn’t expect to make it to October 1. The first two treatment regimens didn’t work; the third did and it was put on hold until this last MRI when it showed some progression again.
I fell very Blessed that my little business and 8 or 9 others were able to pool our money and bring RUSH to Eureka Ca to speak not once but twice early in his career ...

Amazing!...what a great memory. What was it like getting to know him at that time?

We just felt we finally had a voice speaking for us. The sponsors had a few minutes with RUSH prior to his appearance on the stage and he appeared to be a introvert at that time. Both venues were sold out. KINS radio was his local station...
And in a way that torch has been passed to President Trump.
He said the word “terminal”. Guess that says it all in a sad, depressing way. I suspect he might stay on the mike until Thanksgiving, maybe Christmas. Been listening everyday since 1992. Saw Rush do a live speech at the Chicago Theater on State Street 14 years ago for the anniversary of WLS radio. Spoke 45 minutes straight, no papers, no cards, no teleprompters. It was wonderful. When he leaves, my daily routine will change forever.

Praying we will never get to him giving up the mic, but if he must, it will be with tremendous thought for his listeners. I would love to see Tucker Carlson as his stand in and if need, takeover the mic. I have been blessed to have been a three time caller on Rush, and each time, I felt like I was walking on air, that I had something of value that mattered to a great man like Rush. Praying for many more years of Rush.

Not the news I was hoping to hear from Rush today. He's been sounding so fired up and energetic lately, I had almost forgotten about his Stage 4 cancer diagnosis.
We've must keep praying hard for Rush. NO ONE can replace him.

Definitely. It pains me to even think about that...
I remember when I heard he had cancer the first week in February. I was standing on the balcony of a cruise ship with my sister, reading FR, and saw it there. We both cried.
You know Rush would not want us to be feeling sad right now. We know our day to meet the Lord will come. It is just when. BUT we should take his lead and lets get Trump re elected. This is what Rush is focusing on so let’s make it happen!

I forgot to add that I didn’t cry when I was diagnosed with cancer.
I’ve been reading this thread since I’m in class.
We knew that it’d be coming. I believe he’d like to see Jan 20 if he can, but I hope he picks a final day if he feels he can’t continue.
It’s been a hell of a ride. And there will be a void. Someone will eventually fill it, but not right away. We’ll see where his followers go, if they go anywhere in particular.
