"...Barr’s resentment toward rule-of-law prosecutors..."

Sorry, rule-of-law prosectors don't exist...not in today's DOJ.

Ha! This guy is the epitome of a career bureaucrat! A democrat, or rino, I wouldn’t be surprised to find. They all need to resign. They’re used to doing what they want, and playing politics as usual. Now they’re all P.O.’d the old system is being shaken.

Great - there are 4 million bureaucrats in the executive branch. If one quits every 3 weeks, the swamp will be drained in less than 231 thousand years.

This idiot was appointed by TRUMP. Again, who the hell gave Trump this guys name, and told him he would be a good judge?

He works in the snake pit that is SDNY, the most corrupt court in the country. A court that consistently rejects the authority of the Trump DOJ and has relentlessly persecuted anyone associated with Trump in their quest to remove him as POTUS. That he is resigning now, just before an election, tells me he expects Trump and Barr to be around for a while.

“This career bureaucrat seems determined to turn our democracy into an autocracy.”

Let’s see. Phillips Halpern = unelected bureaucrat who has fed at the public trough for 36 years. What a hypocrite. He is obviously a partisan Democrat or he wouldn’t be crying about Barr thwarting a small percentage of crimes against democracy committed by Democrat Party lawfare jihadi within the DoJ. Good riddance. May you inspire large numbers of your like-minded colleagues to leave as well.

This dork seems to forget that he served under Barr as AG, since he’s been there 30 years. Hes obviously just a never Trumper.

"In each of these cases, Barr overruled career prosecutors in order to assist the president’s associates and/or friends, who potentially harbor incriminating information.

That's the real sore point. He's mad that Barr won't allow prosecutors to abuse their authority to go on fishing expeditions.

...........In this writing, Halpern proves something that I found out first hand in divorce hearings and civil business litigation over the past 40 plus years and that is that attorneys have absolutely no problem standing up in open court and telling one bald faced lie after another.

I’m not talking about little bitty ones I’m talking about Whoppers that they know are demonstrably not true. This is why in six jury trials (over 40 years) I won every time.

The only problem on this story is that Halpern didn’t persuade another 10,000 obama era attorneys in the DOJ to leave with him.

“but like many of my colleagues, I fervently hoped that Attorney General William Barr’s preemptive misrepresentation of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report was an honest mistake or a solitary misstep — rather than a deliberate attempt to conceal potential presidential misconduct. “

Halperin was yet another Deep State career government swamp dweller . Odd , how they are always inclined to the Soros side of things

What crack pipe is this idiot huffing on? We need to find more of these idiots and pink slip them. Barr is worthless. If he is taking orders from Trump, then either Trump doesn’t know $hit how to give orders or Barr is deaf as hell! His fat ass has been sitting on The Obama Russia Coup, and now, Biden/Burisma. This guy is a democraps wet dream. He is running cover for the DNC crimes they have commited at all levels!

For the last three-plus decades, I have respected our leadership regardless of whether we were led by a Republican or a Democrat. I always believed the department’s past leaders were dedicated to the rule of law and the guiding principle that justice is blind.

Piling it high and deep in the first paragraph!
