These subpoenas are not meaningless. We have an election in 3 weeks. The bright lights of the beltway theater will draw attention to the corruption of the beltway sewer: Biden and the evidence burying FIBBERS in particular. That is exactly what POTUS needs on his flanks right now.
BTW, if “kabuki theater” is always meaningless why do Democrats use it so effectively? There is a time and a place for it and right now is the best free campaign ad Trump can get.

Because when libs place a conservative under oath, the conservative generally tells the truth or invokes the fifth.
When conservatives place a lib under oath, the lib lies with impunity because conservatives don't have the spine to exact consequences against libs who lie under oath.

It’ like Harmeet Dhillon said on Fox today — bringing people like the CEOs has no teeth. She called it, “pomp and circumstance”. Just another show for the swamp critters, but they can’t do anything.
Here’s the problem with our system of justice:
The government is accountable to the people.
The people have been brainwashed.
Elected officials who attempt to enforce the law are painted as overreaching authoritarians, and voted out of office by the brainwashed electorate.
To drain the swamp, the people must want it drained.
Would-by tyrants lie and deceive - it’s what they do. They have been f’ing it so long and they are so good at it - it is like an evil spell has been cast over We the People.
Somehow, the evil spell must be broken.
Case in point:
President Trump and his supporters are obviously “the good guys” fighting for freedom - defending the Constitution. If there was any justice in this works, this election should be an epic landslide - yet it will probably be close...
And it won’t be close because of cheating. It will be close because of brainwashing.
Those of us who understand, need to do a better job of teaching those who don’t. The truth is the only defense against the lies. No justice system is going to save us - we can “reform” it all we want. We can fire AGs and appoint new ones.. we can even throw corrupt politicians in jail...
But until there are enough of We the People who can distinguish truth from lies, there can be no justice.

A bit late to start trying to hold these types responsible, but I guess the attempt is a positive sign.
As for this instance in specific, I’d hold back on the chiding until/unless the contents can be verified. But the social medias already have a long ongoing line of anti-democratic wrongdoings that needs to be terminated.

Biden’s transition team had hired top Facebook executive Jessica Hertz to its general counsel to oversee ethical issues.
Twitter Public Policy Director Carlos Monje left the social media company to join the transition team for Joe Biden.
Monje has worked in the world of presidential transition politics in the past, previously serving as the director of agency review on the team that prepared for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s administration.
Monje also acted as deputy policy director during Obama’s first run for office and subsequently served as a senior policy advisor and special assistant to the president on the Domestic Policy Council. Monje’s final years in the administration were spent in the Transporation Department before he departed for Twitter.
