A group of 88 faculty members at Notre Dame - none of which are part of the law school where Judge Barrett teaches - penned a letter asking her to refuse her appointment to the Supreme Court.
"Were asking a lot, we know," the opponents wrote. "Should Vice-President Biden be elected, your seat on the court will almost certainly be lost. That would be painful, surely. Yet there is much to be gained in risking your seat."

Notre Dame delenda est
Group of 88 LEFTIST/LIBERAL/DEMOCRAT Professors.....
There fixed it.
Staggering stupidity.
Lost? Where? In the Potomac?
Oh noes! Not a letter!!!
None from the Law School.
So, not really her colleagues, just run of the milll leftist academics.

if your refuse your appointment, you have given it up TOTALLY. It isn’t a postponing for Trump to nominate you again AFTER the election.
She should write back each one of them demanding their resignations.
I’m wondering if they are holding out for her refusal and would be comfortable making her president of the University instead?
And it makes do difference if she IS seated if Biden-Harris steal the election because they are going to pack the court with 4 or more left wing “judges” to get the court activism that they want.

The Group of 88 is the term for the professors at Duke University who were signatories to a controversial advertisement in The Chronicle, the university’s student newspaper, on April 6, 2006. The advertisement addressed the Duke lacrosse case, in which an African-American woman claimed to have been raped by three white members of Duke’s lacrosse team several weeks earlier. The incident was under police investigation at the time of the advertisement, and all charges were dropped and the students declared innocent by the North Carolina Attorney General a year after its publication. The signatories stated they were attempting to start a dialogue regarding issues of race and sexual assault, but they and the advertisement attracted widespread criticism.
What a coincidence! Because I recently sent a letter to those 88 Notre Dame faculty members. I asked each and every one of them to resign.
I even started my letters with Im asking a lot, I know.
(So far Ive received no responses. But I remain optimistic. You know how slow the mail can be.)
Don’t they allow devil worshiping there now?
“And nobody cared.”
The level of desperation is embarrassing to put it mildly. I’m going give up a chance of a lifetime, because 88 liberal professors who still believe in the Russian Hoax, said so. Just stop!
Note to self: Demand that all grandchildren never consider Notre Dame as a viable education source.
I think Pete Buttigieg is on the ND faculty now. Not sure why he didn’t sign.
