In this case, WHO was right to choose the politics. WHO is not a purely scientific establishment any more than our CDC. Science alone cannot weigh the risks of a disease (here, highly exaggerated) against the economic and life quality costs of trying to prevent it. It’s a value judgment, not a scientific judgment.
I never locked down.
At least after impeachment, when the news kept crying that the only way to stop Trump is to the economy to crash, within a couple of weeks they found a way to crash the economy
Yup, this was always a scam.
Hence Biden’s pivot to Trump should not have locked us down.
if they force biden on us, the lockdown will be over almost immediately and we’ll never see another covid report again, ever.....
So WHO reverses course. It would be interesting to observe the debate among the censor crowd within Google today, since they’ve claimed all along that anything or anyone that isn’t in line with WHO’s proclamations needs to be censored as against the science.
My bet? They’ll now censor WHO. The lockdowns need to continue until at least November 3rd.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense would have known the lockdowns would be a disaster, especially an economic disaster. It was sold as a way to “flatten the curve” because (supposedly) millions of Americans were at risk of dying. And the Scientists & Dems cheerleaded and encouraged it (at the time).
Now Biden is suddenly against it (after saying he would do a 2nd lockdown). And the WHO has flipped like a trained dog doing a trick.
I still think that if Biden is elected, COVID-19 will disappear from the news by Inauguration day.
Which is ridiculous on its face since Trump didn’t lock anything down. Unlike lefties, Trump actually governs in a way that adheres to the Constitution. The POTUS has no Constitutional power to order businesses to close or order people to stay home. All of the lockdowns were implemented by state governors under emergency powers granted to them by state constitutions.
Hmmm....where else could that have applied?
