Beltway Republicans Want President Trump to Drop The “Russiagate” Issue…

Posted on  by

While it might seem frustrating to see republicans and conservatives demanding that President Trump stop talking about the greatest act of sedition and usurpation, within our Constitutional Republic in the history of our nation, this espousal by Andrew McCarthy is factually a very wide-spread opinion within the DC beltway:

Take the intents in their best possible light, and the basic premise is that no-one cares about the abuses of power that took place. National Review article by Rich Lowry is here.

I have shared by own thoughts on this matter several times; and despite knowing this issue may not/will not drive the 2020 election; in my own contemplation I keep coming back to this central question: How can this be ignored?…

… How does the office of a U.S. president; and more importantly the republic itself; survive a coordinated coup effort involving all three branches of government; while simultaneously those in charge of exposing the corruption fear the scale is too damaging for them to reveal?

What are your thoughts?

From the article:
"How does...a U.S. president...survive a coordinated coup ...while simultaneously those in charge of exposing the corruption fear the scale is too damaging for them to reveal?"

What are your thoughts?"

As the new guy in town, Trump and his staff should administer informal and discreet daily loyalty tests of those asked to work on his team. It is almost certainly along the lines of running a competent major NY street gang.

Trump may indeed constantly scrutinize the actions of his team. For example, perhaps he has asked AG Barr why no criminal action has been presented with regard to Hillary's blatant national security breaches. Perhaps Trump and Barr are of one mind on the matter.

Trump should limit the time talking about Russia Russia Russia... (keep talk it to the fun 'read meat' stuff then move on) ... focus on telling Americans what he wants to accomplish.

Example: I promised to end senseless wars in the ME AND we've accomplished ABC... (Peace between countries in the ME), ISIS destroyed, those wars are over... our troops (list number) have come home. Then list of 2 future goals for peace.

List two domestic accomplishment...and list 3 plans for the future...health care, law and order...jobs etc. Say, 'it's easy from Biden to promise the American people everything... because he has no intention of keeping his word. When I promise, I work 52 weeks a year to make it happen.

If nobody cares, then the perps can be held to account and, according to NR then ... nobody will care!

I think when POTUS is re-elected, these traitors will pay a price. Because, DJT believes in the doctrine of: If they hit you strike back harder. Smash them. One way or the other some of these worst offenders will be dealt with.

If not, it does not bode well for the survival of the Republic or freedom.
