This is flat out murder. If anyone is familiar with basics, there are a few factors. Location is one, such as defending yourself in your own home, or not having a reasonable chance to escape an altercation. Belief in your own imminent harm and a reasonable proportional response is another. Attempts to leave the altercation, the duty to retreat, are considered also.

There is NOTHING in this case that can be successfully argued that shows this is what happened. It is VERY different from the Rittenhouse case.

Unless he pulled the gun before the spray was deployed. You have to have a legit reason to pull your gun. Personal fear and angst are not a good reason. Cops get in trouble if their first reaction to an unarmed individual is to pull a weapon. Trained security are taught only pull the gun if you plan to use it. If this security guard pulled his weapon before there was any threat he deserves a charge of manslaughter. The reporter who instigated the confront had big balls because he brought armed security. He needs to be charged as well.

Have you read anything about this? It was a Patriot Rally. The Antifa group came second, not the other way around. The son was 24, I don’t know about your world but in mine 24 is an adult.

The Black Guns guy is a known agitator.

He was being followed around by the NBC crew because they knew that he would cause trouble and they could broadcast it. It looks like Black Guns and NBC were working together, if not officially, then certainly informally.

The “Pinkerton security guard” is an antifa sympathizer named Matt Dolloff that the NBC outfit hired. Dolloff may have been charged with murder last night. NBC itself may be in legal trouble over this killing.

From everything I have seen, this wasn't a case where either party was backed into a corner and had to rely on anything defensive (a fist, mace, pistol, MG42, et cetera).

I think it was a case where Pride stepped in (as it steps in for all of us now and then) and then it went south.

Because anyone attending protests of any kind in the volitile climate out there today is a fool.....we know Antifah and Blm have activated their groups across the nation and they are armed.....they will show up where they’re designated to go. Known well for hijacking protests regardless of what it’s for. So why feed their ambitions?

The fact the guy took pepper spray with him is telling that he knew there could be danger.
