The FBI and Twitter are investigating a claim made by C-SPAN host Steve Scully that his Twitter account was hacked when it posted a message for Anthony Scaramucci, one of President Trump's fiercest critics, days before he was to moderate a debate.
'Steve Scully notified us that his Twitter account was hacked,' the Commission on Presidential Debates tweeted on Friday.
'CPD reported the apparent hack to the FBI and Twitter, and we understand that the federal authorities and Twitter are looking into the issue.'

It wasnt possibly hacked.
So, will the FBI properly tell us, this?
Not likely.
Babylon Bee?
This would be a good time to bet your most liberal friend a wonderful meal, based on the outcome of this investigation.
Somebody snuck into his house and brute-forced the password of his iPhone.
FBI on the case!
LOL.
15 Fey Wray FIBsters looking for nooses?
Still trying to catch the Trump campaign doing something.
If only Attorney General Barr had one tenth the fight these deep staters have. But, that requires testosterone.
I am so numbed by bias, favoritism, lies, giving their candidate the questions ahead of time that it took me until just now to figure out the problem.
That he would even pretend to be a neutral moderator is more surprising than his thoughtless tweet.
Guess that’s the Overton Window at work...nothing surprises me.
Give the investigation to Durham or Huber, they’re doing nothing.
Mooch responded back to Scully’s question. It wasn’t a hack.
That is what is really sad, we just cant get anymore disillusioned.
Who hacks someone’s account just to post “should I respond” and nothing else? What would be the point?
I don’t trust the FBI either.
Funny. This is the modus operandi of Leftists when they are caught in lies-they deny, deny, deny...knowing full well the media will back them in their lies and give them all the benefit of the doubt.
In the Alger Hiss perjury trial, when it was proven via standard typewriter forensic analysis that Alger Hiss’ personal typewriter had been used to transcribe classified military documents Hiss had taken home overnight, his comment on the stand when he was asked to explain it was:
“I am amazed, and until the day I die, I shall wonder how Whittaker Chambers got into my house to use my typewriter.”
Given the forensic evidence that had been presented during the trial that showed beyond a doubt whose typewriter had produced the documents in question passed from Hiss to Chambers (which Chambers had hidden in the hollowed out pumpkin) the courtroom erupted in guffaws, titters, and open ridiculing laughter when Hiss made this statement.
It is a Leftist thing. They do it now when trying to cover their tracks, and the non-Leftists in America guffaw, titter, and openly laugh at the “my account was hacked” defense.
Did he say it was hacked and then deleted the Twitter account to hide additional tweets that reveals his other biased incriminations?
FBI has to play it straight otherwise it could face additional scandal if it lies for Scully. The Rats October surprised themselves.
Wow, I'm sure they'll get to the bottom of it!
