Lightfoot is such an embarrassment. But Chicago elected her.
I’ve only voted for a Democrat once in my life. I was 18 and voted for Jane Byrne for mayor in the Democratic primary. She lost. Then voted for Republican Bernard Epton in the general election. He lost. I was 0 for 2 that year.
Most people probably don’t know this, but Republican Epton almost won the Chicago mayoral election that year. Harold Washington beat Epton 52% - 48%.
I guess some people like that amount of violence?
The only reason she was 'SEelected' is she'd black, she's female [nominatively], and she's Democrat.
