A team of NASA researchers seeking a new energy source for deep-space exploration missions, recently revealed a method for triggering nuclear fusion in the space between the atoms of a metal solid.
Their research was published in two peer-reviewed papers in the top journal in the field, Physical Review C, Volume 101 (April, 2020): Nuclear fusion reactions in deuterated metals and Novel nuclear reactions observed in bremsstrahlung-irradiated deuterated metals.

Hey, it’s only 30 years away!....................
Good....my 1980 Master’s paper outlined a path to have it by 2005......

30 years, that sucks. It’s only 5 years when we will have the cure for Cancer and Baldness and renewables will be competitive with fossil fuels.
Oh, man. I wish they hadn’t announced this. Now the price on bremsstrahlung-irradiated deuterated metals is gonna go sky high. You thought toilet paper and ammo were bad...
See https://www.safireproject.com/
They are already fusing atoms in a plasma using electrical charge. The plasma self organizes. They have investors who vetted the technology. Their anode is covered with elements not present prior to use and they are getting a seven to one energy amplification. The debunkers are theoretical since they have not tried to replicate these experiments.
I like to say “bremsstrahlung”.
Flying cars are only 10 years away.....................again.............
Even if it works, it can’t be used.
All employees are White males, thus it is a systemically racist invention.
"Im talking about things like cobalt, rhodium, manganese, titanium and more [bremsstrahlung-irradiated deuterated metals, I presume]..."
This sounds like a version of what Pons and Fleischmann claimed to have discovered in 1989 — and were widely ridiculed for.
They’ve been doing this for years, but no one has been able to get more energy out than is put into fusing the atoms, other than through some fission process.
Ironically, as a political society, it will never be developed. We prefer renewables, distributed to the area needed. We’ll store months of electricity to be used later, locally.
That said, the Safire guys say they can produce remediation of nuclear waste, so that problem can be finally put away.
I like to say “figgy pudding.” No, wait. That’s Uncle Joe Biden’s line.
Had my dog deuterated couple of years ago.
The current FAD does seem to be self-destruction by turning our back on God and technology. I don’t think the ones embracing it can comprehend the consequences.
