Natan Sharansky had a brilliant examination of why humor is utterly not allowed in socialist dictatorships in “The case for democracy; The Power Of Freedom to Overcome Tyranny And Terror”.

He said basically that their power is so based on lies, that any attempts to laugh at them reveal you no longer believe their bull$hit. That is a dagger to their heart and why the slightest anti-socialist jokes were brutally punished. Humor is a direct assault on their house of cards.

One of the tell-tail symptoms of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is total lack of the sense of humor.

There is no known cure for TDS, and it is unlikely that writers at USA Today will ever recover a sense of humor.

USA Today could be this stupid -or- they’re just trolling for page clicks by writing such an absurd fact-check story.

It is obvious that USA Today thinks that their readership a mentally impaired. This rag did gets its start by adding color and pictures while dumbing down the content to get the broadest set as possible of lowbrow subscribers.

It looks to me like someone at USA Today has a sense of humor and is playing along with the Babylon Bee.

Given the gullibility of some people in this forum, I wonder how many freepers believed it.

It amazes me that John Semmens and those that post from the Babylon Bee have been forced by our doofus administrators and posting nazis to highlight IN THE TITLE that the article being posted is satire!! Takes all the fun out of it.

Call me gullible some of the time. I’ll start reading something from the Bee and for a good 10 or seconds they’ll have me going. It is getting difficult to recognize satire from anything on the left.

Stupid and humorless is a bad way to go through life—and even worse if you are a newspaper.

Fact check that!
