Biden made the comment comparing Trump to Goebbels in an interview on MSNBC with Stephanie Ruhle that aired Saturday in which Ruhle served up a softball question on Trump accusing Biden of socialism.
Biden said, “He’s sort of like Goebbels. You say the lie long enough, keep repeating it, repeating it, repeating it, it becomes common knowledge, they think.” Biden followed that foul insult by saying Trump is “more Castro than Churchill.”
Ruhle tried hard to suppress a smile as Biden was smearing Trump, but finally gave in and flashed a broad grin.

Hitler found out about the Nazis while working for the local police. He was told to infiltrate a group called the "German Worker's Party" because his boss thought they might be communist. They were, but were also German nationalists and extremely anti-Semitic.

Actually if you research the 1944 and 1948 elections you will find that both FDR and Truman called Tom Dewey a fascist. And Dewey was a liberal Republican who accepted much of the New Deal. After that it became de rigueur for the Dems to call every GOP candidate for POTUS a fascist, though I don’t recall Carter or his campaign doing so to Ford.
