Dr. Ron Paul just had a stroke on live stream. Send your love and prayers.
Prayers up
It could be a TIA and resolve completely.... Lets hope thats all it was
They should keep it up. People need to be able to recognize it. I think I bumped into someone having a stroke once and didnt recognize it. I thought he was just crazy.
I get that, and also think the video will remain available. But out of courtesy to the suffering party it is also understandable that the content not be widely published.
Good lord. That was tough to watch. Prayers for Ron.
Ron just tweeted, he’s going to be OK
“UPDATE: Ron Paul recovering in hospital (Prayer works!!)”

I watched for the same reason. Stroke is very treatable if detected early from what I understand.
Prayers up...
I have my own issues with some of his stances over the years, but I have always wished him well.
I did go look only because my husband has had what may have been a TIA and in case it happens again, I would know. Prayers for this gentleman’s full recovery.
Even in areas where I may disagree with Ron Paul, I still have to respect the fact that he has been consistent.
I thought he was something like that.
You’ll notice I come in and out of lucidness with my post :)
I wish him a full recovery.
Don’t dislike the guy.
But it makes sense that I would be very upset about a Current Senator that I know than one I am quite unfamiliar with.
There’s a lot of senators over 44 years. I don’t know all of them.
Relax. They’re your heroes, not mine. I do like Rand a lot though
Having witnessed my dad having one, they really suck. You can’t understand a thing they’re saying. It’s terrifying seeing it.
Oh really! Cool!
My dad had an identical stroke in 1983, loss of speech and left side paralysis. His right carotid artery plugged while he was living alone. He called my mom (they were divorced) but he couldn’t do anything over the phone except grunt, and there was no caller ID then, but my mom eventually figured out it was him and called me. He didn’t get treatment for at least an hour or more by the time I got to him and figured out what had happened, and got him to the ER. He fully recovered from the paralysis but his speech was always somewhat impaired.
