I don’t think it is so much that. Beverly Hills is an independent city with its own police force. It’s not very large and there are absolutely no poor or ‘bad’ parts of town. The local politicians (who are in charge of the P.D.) only answer to the very wealthy residents and owners of very upscale businesses.

The residents may well cheer the ‘mostly peaceful’ protesters on, but not in their neighborhood, thank you very much.

I came across this ammo - Fort Scott. I bought some 5.56 to be able to penetrate into a vehicle. Then I realized - I need to get some handgun ammo to penetrate the vehicle when shooting from INSIDE the vehicle.

Based on the numerous videos it seems like a great penetration round. Solid brass (or copper) and will go through a car door (with the window down) and then still penetrate the bad guy inside, or outside the door.

There is another good video of “Fort Scott Springfield Police Department”. The cops are pretty impressed.

It is a bit pricey now. About the same as a premium hunting round for a .308 years ago for their 5.56.
