President Donald Trump took swings at Chris Wallace days before the Fox News host is to moderate the first presidential debate – accusing Wallace of being 'controlled' by the left.
The president has long complained that he gets unfair treatment in debates, and his team spent months seeking to negotiate better terms as he prepares to face Democrat Joe Biden stage.
But with a prime-time clash set on dicey topics as the coronavirus, race, and social unrest, Trump opted to go after the moderator with the ability to sift questions and pursue follow-ups.
He'll ask me tough questions and it'll be unfair, I have no doubt about it,' Trump predicted. 'But he'll be controlled by the radical left. They control him,' he said in an interview with Fox & Friends cohost Brian Kilmeade on Kilmeade's radio show Thursday.
Trump went on to tout the ratings that Trump brought Wallace in their July interview.
'Chris likes me because his world is all about ratings,' Trump said.
'I would be willing to bet that he won't ask Biden tough questions,' he said.

When Trump is asked any stupid question he should pretend that the question was about Hunter Biden and just give details of the investigation.
Trump is setting the stage where Wallace will have taken notice and people watching will take notice...
He is a Trump Hater but this is not like his show on Fox where he can interrupt and not let you talk..all he is suposed to due is ask questions
When Wallace states a question for Trump. Trump should say “let Joe answer it then I will”. Better yet, ask the same question to both debaters. No changes are to be made to the question once it is asked. End of hard ball questions!
How could Trump, actually, lose the upcoming presidential debates? Biden is going to be pathetic in them, and anything and everything that’s negative against Trump will, probably, boost Trump, even more, during the debates. Plus, it’s, still, possible that Biden ducks out at participating in one to all of the upcoming presidential debates.
Wallace is radical left and plays hell trying to hide it. Cavuto aint any better.
Mike Jr hates Trump more than Biden does and will show it with his gotcha questions for Trump then interrupt him after 15 seconds.

Of course it will be deliberately done, and his reaction has been to upset their narratives and replace them with his own.
Yep - but I like what President Trump does - now Wallace and his handlers have a choice - prove the President right or give questions of equal difficulty...either way the President wins.
