President Donald Trump took swings at Chris Wallace days before the Fox News host is to moderate the first presidential debate – accusing Wallace of being 'controlled' by the left.
The president has long complained that he gets unfair treatment in debates, and his team spent months seeking to negotiate better terms as he prepares to face Democrat Joe Biden stage.
But with a prime-time clash set on dicey topics as the coronavirus, race, and social unrest, Trump opted to go after the moderator with the ability to sift questions and pursue follow-ups.
He'll ask me tough questions and it'll be unfair, I have no doubt about it,' Trump predicted. 'But he'll be controlled by the radical left. They control him,' he said in an interview with Fox & Friends cohost Brian Kilmeade on Kilmeade's radio show Thursday.
Trump went on to tout the ratings that Trump brought Wallace in their July interview.
'Chris likes me because his world is all about ratings,' Trump said.
'I would be willing to bet that he won't ask Biden tough questions,' he said.

Nothing can stop the President from asking direct questions to the Sundowner.

Each would be very objective in a debate but Democrats would not let them or Tucker Carlson moderate.
It may be deliberately done. Show the public just how pathetic Plugs is, having to be propped up and delicately handled by Wallace, while he attacks the President (i.e. “Vice-President Biden, what’s your favorite color ?” “MISTER Trump, why are you always lying and how can you live with yourself that you murdered a quarter of a million people with Covid virus ?” “Vice-President Biden, how do you stay so young and healthy looking. So handsome ?” “Mister Trump, as the biggest racist, sexist, and reprobate to ever sit in the White House, does it not bother you that you will be burning in hell for all eternity ?” “Vice-President Biden, what’s your favorite meal ?”)
If Plugs got 10% of the negative treatment Trump gets, he’d be hiding in a ball, crying like a baby.
Why aren’t there conservatives there?

Not many options since they’re nearly all leftists. Having said that, Wallace is one of the worst. Watch the difference in his tone and persistence between the two.
The Dems never have to face a conservative moderator. They know they would be asked tough questions so they simply refuse to allow it. Republicans, on the other hand, can never seem to even get someone who is not hard left.

It’s far easier than that.
Trump should go to the debate with a sheet of questions from Limbaugh, Levin and Carlson. Each time Wallace asks him a question, Trump can say, “no, I’m am going to take a question from Rush Limbaugh!” and the read Rush’s tough question.
Each time Wallace asks Biden a question, Trump can instead demand that Biden answer Levin’s question, and then read that question to Biden.
As usual, Trump will make Wallace look like a putz.
not tough questions... trick questions.. the kind that if answered looks bad... the moderator is a Trump hater... and that is all fair? he can make Trump look like bret did 4 years ago.... maybe bret got the idea from wallace... and I have not liked bret since that day... he thought he was smart and he was a sucker....

Since Kilmeade is a long time Never Trumper, did he have enough courage to speak his version of the truth as demanded by FOX hosts?
In the distant past (back in the days of 12 channel televisions), the debates were often moderated by the anchor of the network and the questions were from a panel of newspaper and magazine reports. Essentially, people who were liberal but not accustomed to grandstanding for the camera.
Today, they're all a bunch of prima donnas or peacocks strutting for the cameras.

‘Controlled’ implies that he wouldn’t do it voluntarily or on his own. The fact is that Chris Wallace has always been a leftist. He’s not even a very good interviewer. He strives for confrontation and ‘gotcha questions’ instead of enlightening the viewers on the debate topics. It may be entertaining but it’s not very informative.
I don’t get that guy... what does he have against Trump? is has to be something picky... it’s been 4 years... he should have gotten over whatever it was/is.
