Been watching on TV. I think Louisville will see some riots about this. Very sad that this lovely woman was killed for no reason.
100% chance of riot
“Very sad that this lovely woman was killed for no reason.”
What? Your sarc tag is broken?
She knew what she was doing. Instead of watching this on tv, read the tatumreport. The transcripts of the jailhouse phone calls are particularly interesting.
Her death is sad, so are the many deaths caused by the way these warrants are carried out. Instead of charging the police for carrying out orders, they should pass Rand Paul’s bill banning them.
1. She was involved in criminal activity which brought the cops to her front door.
2. She was cheating on her man, who was in jail at the time.
3. The dude she was laid up with thought the cops was her man and opened fire on them.
1a. The cops wouldn’t have been there had she not been involved with criminal activity.
2a. She most likely wouldn’t have been involved with either of these two men had she not been involved in criminal activity.
The lovely woman who was involved in drug dealing?
“...killed for no reason”.
Well - let’s see. She allowed her known drug-dealing ex-boyfriend to continue to use her apartment as a package drop. And when police showed up, KNOCKED REPEATEDLY, then LOUDLY and REPEATEDLY announced themselves and WHY they were there... she (and the guy that was with her) refused to answer. Police breached the door (standard procedure) and immediately were met by gunfire.
Returning fire is standard and essentially automatic in well-trained police.
Maybe she wasn’t the one who fired at police - but she was FAR from an “innocent bystander”.
She was not shot out of hand. She was standing behind the man who was shooting at police. Her choice of cover was not clever.
