1. She was involved in criminal activity which brought the cops to her front door.
2. She was cheating on her man, who was in jail at the time.
3. The dude she was laid up with thought the cops was her man and opened fire on them.

1a. The cops wouldn’t have been there had she not been involved with criminal activity.
2a. She most likely wouldn’t have been involved with either of these two men had she not been involved in criminal activity.

The most important takeaway, that apparently nearly all of you missed, is that ...
"While the department had received court approval for a “no-knock” entry, the orders were changed before the raid to “knock and announce”, meaning that the police had to identify themselves."

Additionally, KY AG Cameron stated that the credible eyewitness had testified that LMPD announced themselves.

In Kentucky, once police announce, you do not have safe harbor under Stand Your Ground. In fact, after Walker fired, the only SYG belonged to Officer Mattingly. As it turns out, Officer Cosgrove fired the fatal shot; Officer Hankison missed St. Bre altogether.

That doesn’t justify being shot

Although I generally support the police action in this matter based on what can be clarified of course that’s contentious

It always is and police lie and District Attorney’s lie

Rather than have the police lie down and be blamed for everything it might be time to reassess standard police procedure for knock or no knock raids and returning fire in the face of a threat

When I was a boy long ago seems like at least to my memory but Police did listen this and there’s no question absolutely no question whatsoever that the police were less militaristic militarism in the police force needs to be not only discouraged but forbidden
