At first, I misread your statement as: “while feeding them”.
If you feed them, they will be too full to riot?
States will need to reduce legal or punitive exposure for citizens who defend themselves or their properties. If the police aren’t there, they must do it themselves.
I hear many retired police are heading to the Tampa area. Sounds like a great spot to retire to me. The Governor should offer more incentives.

Boy, I hope you’re right. I live in a town about 40 minutes north of Tampa, right on the Gulf. I hope some of those retired policemen move to my town too. In fact I hope some of those still working Cops in rotten Dem states quit and move to FL and join our police forces down here.
Many of these awesome retired police are vets as well.FL will benefit from BLM riots.
I wish all the governors were like DeSantis.
