COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — It won’t be known until Election Day if a poll showing a tightening contest between Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham and Democrat Jaime Harrison portends an upset — but the gains are real enough in the Democrat’s campaign account.
On the heels of a Quinnipiac University poll that has him tied with Graham among likely voters in South Carolina, Harrison’s campaign has marked two back-to-back fundraising days of $1 million apiece, bringing his total fundraising to over $30 million.
It’s a staggering sum, unheard of for a Democrat competing in this conservative state, and matches what Graham has also raised in his pursuit of a fourth term. It also dwarfs the $10 million figure Harrison previously told The Associated Press he thought necessary to win.
The influx of cash for Harrison — a Democratic National Committee associate chair and former state party chair — is providing a rare opportunity to blanket the airwaves in a place where Democrats haven’t won a statewide contest in 15 years, bolstering the party in their fight to win back the Senate majority.
On Labor Day, the pro-Harrison political action committee Lindsey Must Go flew a banner plane along the South Carolina coast deriding Graham’s stance on offshore drilling, a day before President Donald Trump expanded a moratorium on the practice. This week, the PAC announced it would spend $300,000 on a Charleston-area television ad on the same topic.
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has also pledged to spend at least $1 million in the race’s closing weeks, funding polling, field organizing and advertising.

This should also be seen as an attempt for the Dems to cheat in states that we take for granted. They are going to go for the Senate seats in any contested state, and also try to flip them for Biden and any House seats (and down ballot seats as its redistricting year) at the same time.
How much of this money was funneled through BLM & the like.
I wanted to like Linda after John McStain went to the place of eternal torment but unfortunately my memory is too good and I have noticed he never follows up on his threats to hold other government um uh um “servants” accountable.
Linda is establishment deep state. He may be forced to do the right thing sometimes but he shouldn’t be trusted.
If he wasn’t absolutely needed I would like to see him voted out.
Term limits.
Graham is not going to lose. Why believe the lies they want you to believe unless you think you are getting truthful reporting from a media that hates you?
And Hillary will win South Carolina in 2016. Right? Oh, wait. The polls were wrong. As usual. Upstate votes will easily pull graham over the finish line.

Graham got 54% in 2014.
A Libertarian and an Independent Republican scraped at least 4% off his total.
In previous elections, Graham has done above average with Black voters - from memory, close to 20%.
State wide, more than 20% of eligible voters are Black.
Lou Dobbs had him nailed as do nothing! Maybe that is why is calling Comey and company to discuss their rolls in the Russian conspiracy.
Flimsey Grahamnesty will only have himself to blame if he loses.
He has voted for amnesty and a permanent Democrat majority THREE times.
He has dragged his feet about investigating Obamagate.
If he drags his feet about replacing RBG, he will go down.

The advertizements here are the crazy Lindsey sound bites bad mouthing President Trump before he started supporting President Trump.
It might work, my mother was for Harrison before I point out who he was. She had no idea he was a Democrat. The ads make it out like Harrison is a republican with no mention of being a democrat.
Lindsey only has himself to blame if he does not get reeelected.

Had a man come to my door yesterday promoting Thom Tillis here in NC.
Ended up telling him we are going to hold our noses and vote for him because the option is worse.
Lindsey needs to keep the confirmation hearings from turning into the Kavanaugh hearings, which, by the way, he stated that he would do once he became chairman. Now is the time Lindsey.

I actually donated to his campaign for the first time after seeing him on F&Fs. He’s clearly worried about the money gap. It seems to me that he going 1 to 1 on ads.
