At least one protester was arrested Saturday after a group of about 100 people gathered outside the Kentucky home of Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell.
The Senate majority leader is a key figure in determining whether a nominee appointed by President Trump will succeed the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court before Election Day.
“Ruth Sent Us,” and “No Ethics No Shame,” read some of the signs carried by crowd members in Louisville, local FOX station WDRB-TV reported.
“Hey-hey, ho-ho, Mitch McConnell has got to go,” others chanted.
Reports were unclear on whether McConnell was at home in Kentucky or in Washington on Saturday.
In addition to the impending battle over the court vacancy, McConnell, 78 – a member of the Senate since 1985 -- also faces a reelection fight on Kentucky’s November ballot.
One protester was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and improper parking, after police determined she used a pharmacy parking lot without planning to patronize the store, the Courier Journal of Louisville reported.
After facing the towing of her vehicle, the woman went inside the store and bought a six-pack of beer but police arrested her anyway, the report said.

The arrest prompted other protesters to start chanting, and one member of the crowd kicked a glass door and damaged it, the newspaper reported.
Other protesters agreed to move vehicles that were blocking traffic on a nearby street, following a police request.

That is what is going on here. The left wants to run things, and if the rest of us dare to do our own thing, "protests" which is just the current code word for riots, looting, arson... This isn't a response to a social or societal injustice (I'm not convinced any exist beyond highly localized unique situations), this is an attempt at armed insurrection. This is low key guerrilla warfare.
Leftist democrats use threats and intimidation tactics and use euphemisms like ‘protest’ to cover their attacks.

That is the part of this whole slow moving event ...it is going to go hot no matter what. Everyday average Joe’s out here are starting to sense it coming. Even my neighbor, who is non-political news... is on edge. Her latest comments of watching CNN, her son was watching Fox and poking fun at the newscast, but then I shared an actual press conference with her...God Bless her ...she actually had a jaw dropping moment of ...he never said what they are reporting! She’s voting Trump.
But we had a long talk over the backyard fence and she is worried. I just told her to prepare for significant disruptions coming. My point here though is does the DC Leadership understand the ‘silent country’ knows we are in the battle of and for our Nation.
It is ironic that Trump can negotiate Peace accords while our own country is being shredded apart by hidden agents and traitors. I posted that all this rioting is meant as a form of voter intimidation at this point. It is not about a redress of grievances.
The landslide victory heading our way is going to be tarnished. Voting isn’t going to be enough, we are literally going to have to fight for it. New estimates of the Civil War say 750,000 people died or 2.5% of the population. If our only way forward is civil war and percentages being what they are...over 8 million people will die. It is a grim statistic of the Tree of Liberty. Although a pittance to the death of 42 million during Mao’s “3 years of difficulty and starvation.”
To Mitch McConnell: this is what we realize we’re facing. Your counterparts across the aisle might as well be enemies of the state. At least that is what Pelosi is already calling us...enemies. They have already declared the war has begun, we the American people already feel its slow approach and we’re hoping there are Freedom Leaders in the Halls of Government.
Adjourn the Senate if those two nitwit bimbos dont wish to vote for his appointment. Recess appoint and move on.
