In an Associated Press interview with Mark Sherman dated July 8, 2016, Justice Ginsburg, stated her views on a potential Donald Trump (R) administration, stated, . It's likely that the next president, whoever she will be, will have a few appointments to make."

1. The New York Times published Justice Ginsburg following comments on Trump, "I can’t imagine what this place would be — I can’t imagine what the country would be — with Donald Trump as our president ... For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don’t even want to contemplate that."

2.On July 11, Justice Ginsburg, called Trump "a faker" and said, "He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment. He really has an ego. ... How has he gotten away with not turning over his tax returns?

3.Trump's response

The NYT reported July 12, 2016, Trump made the following remarks regarding Ginsburg's comments about his possibly becoming president, "I think it's highly inappropriate that a United States Supreme Court judge gets involved in a political campaign, It's a disgrace to the court Ginsburg should apologize to the court. I couldn't believe it when I saw it .. That she should be saying that? It's beneath the court for her to make these statements.

4. On July 13, Trump called for Justice Ginsburg's resignation, saying that she "has embarrassed all by making very dumb political statements about me. Her mind is shot - resign!"

5.Ginsburg apology In a statement released July 14, Justice Ginsburg apologized for her statements, “On reflection, my recent remarks in response to press inquiries were ill-advised and I regret making them ... Judges should avoid commenting on a candidate for public office. In the future I will be more circumspect.

I don’t care what she said - she had no moral standing because of her positions on abortion.

I remember Chief Justice John Roberts saying “We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges” in November 2018, 2 years after Ginsburg said those remarks about presidential candidate Trump. It’s no wonder the press didn’t ask John Roberts about Ginsburg’s remarks.

Those involved with DC 365/24/7 have a serious disconnect with much of the country.

If she was really concerned with dying in her position and Trump replacing her, she should have resigned early into Obama’s second term.

Ginsburg apology

In a statement released on July 14, Justice Ginsburg apologized for her statements,[6]

On reflection, my recent remarks in response to press inquiries were ill-advised and I regret making them ... Judges should avoid commenting on a candidate for public office. In the future I will be more circumspect. [7]

Potential ethics violation”

Trump is way more ethical than she was.

Once she got on the Court she became a Partisan Hack.

It's ironic that she chides President Trump for having an ego when it was HER ego that prevented her from retiring under Obama where he could name her successor. She was so set on making a feminist statement by having a president Hillary Clinton appoint her replacement that she passed up an opportunity to place another leftist on the court as her replacement.

It's kind of like a football player that starts dancing on the five yard line instead of running into the end zone for a touchdown then fumbles the ball to the other team.

So what happens when a Bush v Gore case goes to the Supreme Court w/ a 4-4 Court? Lower court ruling stands, right?

Ruth has met her maker and her judgement now.

“If she was really concerned with dying in her position and Trump replacing her, she should have resigned early into Obama’s second term.”

Most likely, she preferred to be on the SCOTUS at the time of our country’s first female president. She was just so sure that Hillary was going to succeed that she risked it all by staying on the court.

A great many leftists were angered by her refusing to step down during Obama’s time in the White House.

The irony is that according to a niece (?) RBG wants ‘her’ seat left unfilled until Pres Trump is not in office. Again, with the assumptions!

Hi, Guenevere-!

I think it’s a possibility that the kids being referred to are satan’s minions/demons, not the souls of the murdered children.

Aria, People do not understand how we can feel this way about every person we have contact with. It’s not ‘judgment’....but a total bewildering moral heartache/anger that a person....ANY person can not be crushed by the murder of children in the womb of their mothers.

You can tell where a person soul is by simply knowing their view on abortion,
