Roe v. Wade passed when I was 12 years old. I remember my Mom (a STAUNCH Conservative then and now!) crying all day.
She sat me down and explained why she was crying and told me that day, if, when I was older, that if I ever got pregnant before I was married that WE would raise that baby together, as a family. (I had a Dad, too - also Conservative until the day he died).
Sadly, I was never able to make her a ‘true’ Grandmother due to medical issues of my own and that is my ONE regret in life.
Mom ‘got it’ then, and she gets it today at age 83. Haven’t had a chance to talk to her about this; she’s traveling right now, but I know in her heart of hearts she’s glad this witch is dead.

My liberal female friends on Facebook have been plunged into deep mourning, (one even said she feels like crawling under a blanket and sobbing). SMH
Where will she be buried? Asking for a friend who tells me he is going to buy a dozen cases of beer and a chaise lounge.
I don’t think he will should be jubilant or disrespectful. However, this mindset kind of reflects the millionaire talking heads on Fox this evening, outdoing one another with how graceful they are in taking the highroad as the Democrats even know what the hell that is...even talking about how this could be an opportunity to engage in a truce with democrats (antifa/illiterate ferals by extension) if we wait until after the election to start nomination proceedings. I had to turn it off and watch Cabin Boy! That was the golden age of cinema!
One of the guests was talking about how worried they are and that some of our best potential nominees just probably shouldn’t put themselves up to the scrutiny and hostility that Cavanagh had to go through… It just may not be worth it. I wonder if our founders ever had conversations like that or if Churchhill ever thought that Hitler might hurt his feelings if he took a particular course of action.
