Donald Trump to put forth nominee to replace Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in coming days: Sources

President Donald Trump is expected to put forth a nominee to fill Ruth Bader Ginsburg's seat in the coming days, multiple sources close to the president and with direct knowledge of the situation told ABC News.

The sources describes the list of potential nominees as very short and including at least one woman. U.S. Circuit Judge Amy Coney Barrett is seen as a leading contender, two sources tell ABC News.

LOL, that was February 2016 when Scalia passed away.

Gorsuch was confirmed a year and about two months later.

Hence, Trump assumed the Presidency in January and it still took 3 months just to confirm a new justice with some Dem support mind you. This won't happen in 2020 because there are enough Repubs that will sit on their hands and there sure as heck WILL NOT be any dem voting yes this year for a Ginsburg replacement.
