I’m sure Democrats would say that since we’re so close to the election that the president elected on November 3rd should be the one to nominate a replacement.
And this will focus more attention on the courts in this election cycle. Now that there’s an actual vacancy to be filled I’m sure that the Democrats will hit this issue hard.

Actually, she was not a total knee jerk liberal - 90 percent of the time, yes, but one in ten decisions she would actually side with common sense. Requiesat in pace. The interesting thing will be that Roberts was able to do some 5-4 decisions (Obamacare among them). Now if the appeals court has a conservative decision, the best the liberal wing can do will be a 4-4 tie which will uphold the lower court decision.
How much longer can they keep Biden alive?
My first thought exactly . . . .how do we not know she has had a stand-in for several years and her body has been preserved until right before the election. . .the dems thinking they are going to win the election and can thus put in who they wish. Nothing anymore surprises me.
I don’t know about years, but she’s been out of the news for a while.
