SciAm veered off into the weeds of leftist groupthink decades ago. I haven’t read it in 25 years.

Anyone still want to argue that science hasn’t been fully politicized?

Be woke, be irrelevant.
I used to read SA. Was a subscriber.
That was decades ago. Haven’t opened one since.

If I didn’t want to think better of them, I’d say we are witnessing a race to madness, even in the scientific realm.

The Piel family owned “Scientific American.” The wife of the Piel owner ran a Communist front group. I don’t know who owns “Scientific American” now, but it is still written as if the Piels still run it.

Trump does not “reject” “science’.
He does reject the erroneous notion of scientific orthodoxy that denies there are often multiple well-respected and well deserved scientific views on many different subjects.
“Scientific American” I noticed many years ago quit being a true “science” publication and instead became a politically correct publication promoting politically correct views on “scientific” matters.
