President Donald Trump slammed Matt Drudge and his Drudge Report Sunday and Monday, and while it’s subjective to argue whether the right-leaning news aggregator has moved away from positive Trump stories, one thing is true: Drudge’s readership is down a whopping 38% from last year.
According to Comscore data, the Drudge Report had 1.488 million unique visitors in July 2020 — the most recent month for which data is available. That’s down 38.0% from July 2019, when the site boasted 2.399 million unique visitors.
Remarking on a post that said the Drudge Report had seen a “historic crash,” the president wrote on Twitter Sunday, “Such an honor! Drudge is down 40% plus since he became Fake News. Most importantly, he’s bleeding profusely, and is no longer “hot”. But others are! Lost ALL Trumpers.”

I don’t visit anymore and it’s been at least 2 yrs if not more.
I stopped going to Drudge when it started selecting anti-Trump articles and ignoring pro-Trump articles - a long time ago.
Was that way for well over 10 years.

I know Drudge. I don’t know him well, I’m not sure that anyone does, even his lovers. But, I have broken bread with him and I got the impression that he wanted to be noticed and to become wealthy rather than for for some idealogical bent. He rode the Conservative gravy train for a long time and my guess is that he turned over the Drudge Report for a lucrative deal. He doesn’t need it anymore, and he’ll be happy to take the check to the bank.

If Drudge sold his site, why are there still Tom Brady homo infatuation posts? Are the new owners also homo obsessed with Tom Brady?
Drudges TDS had ruined his once treasured and influencial Brand. I used to enjoy his Sunday night radio show some 20 years ago.

I have no idea. Certainly Drudge is a homosexual. I don’t know about the ownership question and I don’t know that anyone knows that answer. I don’t think that he is still running the day to day operation, but I don’t know that as a fact.
His obsession with Lana Del Rey is very creepy... The girl is essentially a nobody, except for the publicity she receives from Drudge, nobody would know who she is.

I would have thought the creepy Lana Del Rey posts would have also stopped if Drudge sold his site.

Do yourself a favor - quit going to the site altogether. The site deserves to die.
I’ve never read it in any regular fashion. Always found the format convoluted and incoherent. I can find everything on Drudge on my own without his “help.”
Those were so good. I can't remember if he came on before or after Art Bell, but it made for an interesting night.
I think Drudge played a bumper of every version of "The Windmills of Your Mind" ever recorded.
I understand that Matt Drudge sold his website a few years back...
That's one rumor.
I think he got a new, lefty boyfriend and changed the website to please him.
With his auto-refresh, Drudge’s numbers were always BS anyway...
