On Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens all but two players stood during the “black national anthem,” but most either took a knee or sat down as the American national anthem was played.
As the Ravens faced the Cleveland Browns in the season opener, all but two of the Ravens proudly stood as “Life Every Voice and Sing” rang out over the stadium’s public address system. Ahead of the song, the Ravens lined up at the goal line as a show of support.
As the “black national anthem” played, Ravens players Marlon Humphrey and Matthew Judon took a knee, according to Baltimore Sun sports reporter Daniel Oyefusi.

The coming together of obvious factors actually demonstrate the absurd betrayal of the players' actual interests by the NFL bureaucracy! Think about it.
Protesting or speaking out is one thing. What is not appropriate is for players making many millions of dollars, being displayed suggesting their race is not being fairly treated in contemporary America!
The players are being manipulated--made to look ridiculous-- by a media & their sycophants, as pawns in an attempted revolution. It calls to mind the French Revolution & the march on the Bastille led by the King's cousin from his enormous Left Bank palace, while dressed in peasant garb!
If Roger Goodell had a functional brain, he would not allow this farce, which can only make the high salaried participants look like ridiculous hypocrites!
Virtue signalling? No!! An inappropriate betrayal of reason!! Obvious betrayal of trust.
National = nation = country. They are rejecting their country for another. Fine. They have renounced their American citizenship. There are many fine countries in Africa which would be happy to have them.

OK. that’s it! Enough of this. I want my white American Anthem. Emiliano Ramierez wants his brown Latino one, Running Bare want’s his red one, and Yoki Ohara wants his yellow one one, there, so now everyone should have one. Will this keep everyone happy? NO! They will want other’s aligned with their social and political views, subject to change when something else they think of comes up. Cov -19 isn’t a problem, what is worse than that is, we are being driven Nucken Futs by the Media! (You can also add in that useless organization they call the UN.)
Thhose supporting these players are totally insane and unpatriotic. Definitely not setting an example for their children and grandchildren.

It’s not a fake Kwanzaa anthem. It’s a Christian hymn written a century ago. If they actually read and prayed the lyrics, a lot of players would be truly changed.
I think your suppose to get on your knees and worship the blackness... Like the dog in that commercial. The black woman stops and looks down her nose at the dog and he bows down and takes a knee...

Many players have strayed. Others never met God in the first place. Let them sing this final verse of the song, if they dare.
I’ll second that.
I’m waiting for one player, any player, to stand for the national anthem, walk out to the middle of the field, lay down his helmet, strip off his jersey and leave it, too, and quit on the spot.
That would send a message.
As I was flipping through the channels, I caught just enough of the game to see the new Rams’ helmet. It doesn’t even look like a ram’s horn anymore.
If I had the patience to have been in attendance at that game, I would have not just turned my back during the playing of the black national anthem, I’d have mooned the world. It would have been well worth getting tossed out. As to any criminal charges...well, that’s art, isn’t it? And if people can “protest” by burning cars and stores, and assaulting people who did nothing wrong to them directly and not be charged with a crime, then a display like that is certainly not a crime.
What happens during the black national anthem?

Right. They took an OK hymn and turned it political a long time ago. It’s in some of our Baptist hymnals.
