Speaker Nancy Pelosi told media on Thursday "I don't think there should be any debates."
Pelosi said she thinks no one should associate with President Trump and that debating him would legitimize his position as President of the United States. She said Trump was "stalking Hillary Clinton" in the 2016 debates.
His wife had to come out and talk for him last week.And now Pelios chokes for him. This electing is over Biden is TOAST.
Debate practice must not be going well.
How would replacing Joe work with all the ballots, etc? Can they even swap him out at this point?
The first hint is that he called his stand in for Trump 3 different names in the first minute.

What they are starting to realize from the Republican Convention is that Trump is transforming the GOP and there are a lot of new rising stars, and the old GOP is dead.

Pelosi is thinking about the House and Senate races, a poor Biden performance could negatively impact those races.

There could be something to this. If there are any none-lunatics remaining in the party, or consultants from outside the US, (e.g., the UK), who don’t care, they may understand exactly that. The best dems can do is bloody the President as badly as possible, weaken his Presidency, then grab everything in 2024.
That is the year that should worry us. The Boomers are fading out as the millennial population (29% of the country) moves closer to positions of power.
