By Tuesday night, armed groups of volunteers, who could be defined as militia or perhaps vigilantes, had congregated in Kenosha with a mission to protect those businesses surviving the first two nights of violence. One of them appeared to be a libertarian group whose message to the Antifa and Black Lives Matter “mostly peaceful” rioters was that if they wanted to torch government buildings or fight the police, they were indifferent; looting and burning private property, however, was not acceptable.
Included in that group was a 17-year-old from Antioch, Illinois, just on the other side of the border named Kyle Rittenhouse, who reports say is the son of a local policeman. Earlier Tuesday Rittenhouse had joined volunteers in washing graffiti off the outer walls of the main building at a high school in Kenosha. How he ended up holding a long gun with much older adults in that militia group Tuesday night is unclear.
It’s also unclear how Rittenhouse got separated from the group. What is known is as the group massed to defend a gas station from a gaggle of Antifa/BLM types who grew increasingly hostile, elements of the Antifa side made their way to a nearby car lot where they attempted to set vehicles aflame and took baseball bats to windshields in an attempt at wholesale destruction of private property.
Not long after that, as visible from video collected at the scene, Rittenhouse was being chased by an individual, described as a 36-year-old from Kenosha, who threw something at him. Reports had it the object was a Molotov cocktail; if that’s true, it either wasn’t lit or didn’t ignite. Rittenhouse turned and shot the individual, who collapsed to the ground with a bullet to the head and expired shortly thereafter.

I think that is the goal. I don't know anything about city of Kenosha other than Trump got trounced by 20 percentage points to Hillary in 2016. Trump actually won the county by a few hundred votes. I suspect the margin will be bigger this time.
The guy shot in the head did not have a gapping whole in his skull like what I’d imagine a 223 or 5.56 would leave. See the arm of they guy he shot for reference. The head shot may have been from a small caliber pistol.
Maybe. The cranium can. Obtain some of the hydrostatic damage , I imagine. Haven’t heard any specifics on entrance/ exit wounds. 5.56 (assuming that’s the round) is somewhat frangible.

Most individuals have lives that are too busy with too many distractions. That was my whole life until my decision to quit working 2-1/2 years ago. I totally understand that. How much time does one have? Only the lord knows. Do not surrender all of your time of YOUR life to someone or something else.

The message stated in the video was something like we support you if youre attacking government and we support BLM, just dont attack here. Quite a bit different.

Its clearly lit in the video. The flames arent very long but the lit edge is 9-12" wide. The accelerant container failing to break does not make it any less an attack with a deadly weapon. Id bet that actually watching the videos being reported on would lead to better information being reported.
Not only does the entry wound look a little bit too large in diameter, the whole back of his head is there. Its clear by the way that they cradle his head and the relative lack of blood that the back of his head is still there.
Ive seen statements by some apparently liberal types saying something about “a keyhole.” Assuming they are both reporting accurately and using the term accurately, admittedly huge assumptions, then they must be talking about the exit, as the entrance appears rather circular (cross section circular into a curvature which I suppose would appear elongated to a person that didnt understand the trajectory). IF all of that is true then there is a defined keyhole in the back and that wouldnt happen from a .223 to the noggin at close range and would suggest another round from another weapon.

The mostly peaceful riots, arson, and looting got a mostly peaceful response from a kid with a cool head and an AR-15.
I saw the wound, there would have definitely been an exit wound with an AR15 or any other rifle round.
His head would have looked like a split watermelon actually on the back side.

A lot of assumptions. I’ve heard of 5.56 doing crazy things. I think I count seven shots in that initial encounter. No idea what actually happened.

I just got off the phone with a friend living in the Gardnerville-Minden, Nevada area and the word is out that a couple of busses full of BLM morons from Calif are going to “protest” this weekend. They tried it a couple of weeks ago but it went nowhere due to the huge turnout of armed local citizens.
The word my friend is hearing is that the BLM useful idiots have cancelled the “protests” this weekend because, “Gardnerville-Minden is too dangerous”.
This is the only thing the idiots understand...they are not brave, they are cowards. This is why all this chaos is occuring in democrat-run communities.
They (apparently) only canceled the G-M march. They say they will still be at the Capitol in Carson City.
My friend told me that the defenders are going to have a big potluck dinner tonight...wish I could be there.
