LOL....I thought he sounded like Bocelli!

Mr. Macchio’s performances range from full operatic arias, to stirring songs from the repertoire of Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti and Mario Lanza, to timeless classics in the styles of Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé. His presentation consists of the display of a highly trained voice of beautiful tone and quality, delivered with a charisma and sincerity that never fails to produce a standing ovation! Mr. Macchio has performed in a variety of languages and cultural settings for sacred ceremonies, lively receptions, private and public events, and for numerous charities. Mr. Macchio offers a guaranteed way to enhance the polish and sophistication of your event in a powerful and memorable way!

“t a lot of Democrats who normally wouldn’t have watched this tuned in due to the NBA boycott, and now the NHL has joined them. No playoffs tonight anywhere.”

Insightful comment!

I sorta like the Leonard Cohen - even though there are many versions and interpretations of the lyrics - some denigrated.

Hallelujah” is a song written by Canadian singer Leonard Cohen, originally released on his album Various Positions (1984). Achieving little initial success, the song found greater popular acclaim through a recording by John Cale, which inspired a recording by Jeff Buckley. It has been viewed as a “baseline” for secular hymns.[1]

Following its increased popularity after being featured in the film Shrek (2001),[2][3] many other arrangements have been performed in recordings and in concert, with over 300 versions known.[4] The song has been used in film and television soundtracks and televised talent contests. “Hallelujah” experienced renewed interest following Cohen’s death in November 2016 and appeared on many international singles charts, including entering the American Billboard Hot 100 for the first time.[5]

What are those on the double bass? Fine tuners? I want them.

Back to hallejulah!

Cohen wanted to fight for Israel during one of the Arab wars, but they wouldn’t let him, he was considered too valuable.

Let’s admit this more intimate RNC turned out a thousand times better than we all thought it would.

I confess, Yer Honor! I thought, "Oh, White House lawn, this is gonna be a disaster." Glad to be oh, so very wrong.

The one thing we'll be missing is serious media analysis and commentary, and that's a sad thing, but we'll find it here on FR and elsewhere on the Internet. And that, my FRiends, is where the real revolution resides...
