We were referring to one of the debates in 2016 when DJT made a kind gesture to Ben Carson. Dr Carson missed his cue to walk out, when it was Trump’s turn to walk out he saw Dr Carson and understood what had happened, he waited with him while the others were introduced and then walked out with him. He overshadowed Dr Carson’s embarrassment because he waited, a truly gracious gesture.
Political theater developed in very little time for an entirely new media!
I tuned into the first night expecting a disaster like the DNC convention. Been watching every night since- frankly, because it is such a good show!

All business, everything has a purpose, this wasn't to preach to the choir, this was to convince the undecideds. And I think it hit a home run!

I’m not sure what you mean.
But I DO expect prospective Leaders to be concentrated upon the substance of what they are communicating, and not upon how they appear.
If one is truly convinced of the ideas that they are attempting to communicate, they are always convincing (and usually don’t even need a teleprompter. That’s why President Trump can so often speak extemporaneously and so powerfully, without a script.)
Leading the most powerful nation in the world requires true wisdom, knowledge and vast experience. President Trump possesses those. His daughter doesn’t possess them yet, and won’t even possess enough in four years; but maybe she will much later.
