Bill Cohen, a Republican who spent more than three decades representing Maine in Congress before becoming secretary of defense during former President Bill Clinton’s second term, has endorsed Democrat Joe Biden for president.
“We have a choice in November,” Cohen said in a statement released by the Biden campaign Wednesday. “Whether to go back to our dark past or reach for who we aspire to be -- a country where it doesn't matter where you came from, how you worship or who you love, a country where everyone matters.”
Cohen, 79, served in the House of Representatives from 1973 to 1979 before being elected to the Senate three times.

Yep, as I noted to Impy the other day, most of these "former Republican officials" endorsing Biden haven't supported ANY member of "their" party in decades. It would be a shock at this point if cretins like Bill Cohen, Ray LaThug, or Colon Bowel Movement WERE endorsing Trump.
I wish we could officially expel these douchebages from the GOP and prevent them continuing to claim to be "Republicans" in public. False advertising on their part.
And you're right, even Biden himself COULD claim to be as much as a "Republican" as those guys. He is a "former Republican official" since he clerked for "prominent Republican attorney William Prickett" in the 1960s, and Biden backed Republican candidate Russell W. Peterson over RAT Governor Charles L. Terry in 1968.
