Players on the Milwaukee Bucks called Wednesday for the Wisconsin legislature to reconvene to address police brutality and criminal justice reform after boycotting their NBA playoff game to protest the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
"We are calling for justice for Jacob Blake and demand the officers be held accountable," Bucks guard George Hill said in a statement to reporters as several of his teammates stood behind him. "For this to occur, it is imperative for the Wisconsin legislature to reconvene after months of inaction and take meaningful measures to address police accountability, brutality and criminal justice reform."
"We encourage all citizens to educate themselves, take peaceful and responsible action and remember to vote on November 3," Hill added.

it ends when the adults execute the communists and anarchist looting thugs
Why doesn’t all professional sports shut down? Why just for one day? Why not until all racism, hate and bad cops are eliminated? This would be a serious statement not just weak virtue signaling. They are all rich and can afford the loss of income.
“NBA Players Association is meeting tomorrow to determine whether to keep playing or just end the season.”
This will turn into a sports media driven get out the vote effort.
Wait, the messages on the jerseys didnt do anything? (Snark)
Ratings are tanking...they just want to take their ball and go home. This was a convenient excuse.
If the playoffs don't resume, the NBA will suffer an even greater financial hit. IIRC, the Commissioner's Office is funded from TV revenues from the NBA finals.
BINGO!
95% or more of sports audiences are white. The players message of white hating is possibly a bad idea
the owners are waaaaaay too scared to do that right now
they dont want bpm perched on their mansion doorsteps
they know they will get past the gates
they’ve already made their bed
now they hace to lie in it
i will not help them or cry if the thugs and commies turn on them
i want them to be destroyed
they are commie and thug criminal enablers
not on our side, and the phuck if we should take them in or help them, screw that
and they eventually will one way or another
libtards and diehard commies do not care
they’ve let this go waay too far and they can’t reel it back in now
i want to see the nfl and nba and mlb burned down so far the ashes have ashes
OMG!! Has Naomi been to Chicago? I invite her to come to Englewood or the West Side. If there is a 'genocide' it isnt by the Police.
WOW, that is such an ignorant comment.
Watching the continued genocide of Black people at the hand of the police...
Hey little chickee, if theres a genocide of Black people happening, youll find it at Planned Parenthood and the clinics, where it has been for decades.
But her head is too empty to get it.
We encourage all citizens to educate themselves...
The legislature should encourage these players to educate themselves on the meaning of over 1000 years of English Common Law, including the meaning of due process and innocent until proven guilty.
This little stunt by the Bucks will likely lead to a veto proof majority for the Republicans in the WI Legislature. There was an off chance of it happening before all of this, but this likely seals the deal.
Fine. The Bucks (and any other team) should be deemed to have forfeited every playoff game they skip. The opposing team(s) are awarded a win.
I’m fed up with these prima donna athletes and the leagues that coddle them.
Give both teams a loss for refusing to play.
The MLB just did a blm thing at the opening games.
It hasn’t been mentioned since then. The games are somewhat normal, given the altered rules and no fans in the seats.
Let’s not lump the MLB in with the NFL and NBA. The latter two leagues are ruled by weak Commissioners and a majority of black players.
