Doesn’t surprise me that CNN took the cue from the Portland Mayor begging to “stop the rioting” until after the Election because public disapproval of riots seemed to help Trump.
Elect Republican mayors and Republican Governors and the riots WILL stop. We don't put up with that crap in red States...

It's a thing of beauty, too. They wanted Trump to overstep by sending in federal troops eventuating in :
1) the ending of violence , restoring peace and tranquility to this wonderful city with such a wise mayor,
and 2) the ability to charge Trump with gestapo tactics.
Now, they don't dare invite troops in, and their cities crumble along with their future political ambitions, while DjT's and law abiding Rs benefit.

Trump offered to send in help and did in some cases. He was rebuffed. This is all on the Democrat governors of the states where this is happening.
