I worked for one of the first local cable companies to install local ad insertion in their system.
Forgive me for understanding how my job worked.
But, you go on and keep spreading bullshit theories instead of listening to someone who understands the system. I am sure that will work out well with you.
In the beginning; cable sucked us in with the premise of NO advertising; as we PAID for our 'entertainment' up front. Now we have the privilege of seeing about 35% of the stuff being ads!!!
