The NFL is preparing to end the use of military honor guards to present the American flag ahead of the national anthem, according to reports.
A league source claims that the policy benching military, federal, and police guards is part of its COVID-19 response, according to Front Office Sports.

It appears that there will be no flags on the field and the flag will only appear on electronic scoreboards during the playing of the national anthem, at least for the beginning of the season.

The NFL and most of pro sports seems to playing offense against its (former) fans.
It is indeed amazing.
As a bunch of P&L guys, they seem unable to recognize that at the street level they are simply flipping the bird to the larger population, and perhaps in many cases that is their agenda.
They are erasing our history by "disrepecting" our flag and the real Americans that have stood for that flag and country.
Those are not just words; they are a long line of friends, brothers, fathers, grandfathers, uncles and beyond, along with female family members who have given their all for our country.
Systemic racism means that just like on the streets, blacks should get a pass and not incur any penalties for their misdeeds on the field.

Every honor guard at all NFL events needed to be canceled when the first paid employee of any team or stadium disgraced themselves during the National Anthem and wasn't promptly fired and removed from the stadium.
The National Football League needs to remove National from its name. They've made it clear that they oppose this nation and its members.
Remove their anti-trust exemption while at it. They're working for their global broadcasters and content providers and never deserved it anyway.
Rumor has it the NFL plans to replace the military honor guard with a BLM contingent, complete with can of gasoline, matches, and molotov cocktails.
Folks, the NFL needs to die a quick death. Defund them at all costs.
