Hurricane Laura emerged from the Caribbean Sea, leaving behind flooding and fatalities in Hispaniola and Cuba. Former Hurricane Marco dissipated Tuesday morning, a few hours before Laura strengthened to a hurricane.

It’s not 2020 in Louisiana?
They should have called Marco, Peter cus it petered out.
Laura does not look to defined but is taking shape.
Lopsided storm hard to predict and several models have it smacking Galvenston Bay which is why that area is still in the cone and ridge is weakening. I would not rule out anywhere from Freeport to SW middle of LA coast.
Has Cuba always been that big?
What the hell, 10,000 people dead is worth it if they can cancel out the convention and blame Trump.
While this should be sarcasm, it is just my view of the demonRAT mind.
Katrina was a little lopsided too.
That's how CDC and WHO would figure it.
Cuba is about the size of Tennessee.
We will see what happens once it clears Mexico and Cuba and hits the gulf, but Marco fell apart maybe Laura will weaken but she is is big.
That, and to punish the “red states” since the “blue states” are getting the wildfires and riots.
Of course, the accusations would really fly if Laura slammed into New Orleans. Then you’d have all the Katrina comparisons and “Trump hates black people” stupidity, just like they did with Bush.
There have always been voyeurs and wishcasters hoping for widespread hurricane death and destruction. We see them here on FR too.
...Lopsided storm hard to predict
winds and storm surge in Galveston harbor should be directed offshore, Tx-87 may be washed out and Goat Island cut off
But only God knows, we’re just guessing
He's worth following.
The rotation is there but no eye, Marco moved through the gulf without developing, We shall pray and see what happens when it hits open water in the gulf.
One thing is certain, this happens every year, that’s why they call it hurricane season.
...Cuba is about the size of Tennessee.
Last time Tennessee got hit with a hurricane was
Opal, in October 4, 1995
Ike and Rita still had an eye when they hit Dallas,500 mi inland, weak by then but still defined.
Sorry, my thought was because no one is predicting it to do that, it would do something crazy like that.
odds are the track will be adjusted left or west in the next update
Pray it doesn’t hit west of Galveston ..Houston Metro would get the dirty side and a huge surge into the BAY
I had the experience of Iwa on a submarine at sea Hooboy!
My buddy still bitches about me going to sea and leaving him in Hi to bear the storm LOL
It was no picnic rocking and rolling with the son of sam slippin and slidin like joey gallo...
