Once you CHOOSE to Resist Arrest it’s all on you. Perps are playing games and Police are (rightfully) deadly serious.
The rules apply to blacks and whites equally. Officers command you to stop and listen. Whether they are right or wrong it is not the time to go against it because the consequences can be deadly. Let the court decide but a move like this ahole made will result in being shot. Freepers need to stop apologizing for him. He already had a record of waving guns and threatening people. Put yourself in the cops position. Would you have waited to see what he was getting when he refused to stop and was tazerred? Doubt it.

I really think we need a mandatory sentencing law for resisting arrest. Something like 5 years in jail for resisting arrest. Just make it really freaking obvious that being a jerk and walking away, or running away from the police is a stupid, stupid move. We see these cases where a guy gets shot -- because he's being dumb, It should be part of the culture that even if you manage to avoid getting shot, you WILL be going to prison. So just don't be a jerk to the cops.
